Stops are made in Hattusas, capital of the Hittites, and Gordiom, capital of the Phryigans, before driving to Cappadocia and later on to Konya (capital of Anatolian Seljuck Empire), and then to Antalya, Pamukkale, Ephesus, Pergamum, Troy, Gallipoli, and Bursa (the first capital of the Ottoman Empire). The tour concludes in Istanbul, capital of Eastern Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman Empires, which presents not only the climax of the sightseeing and culinary experiences of the voyage but also the widest range of choices for shopping!
