Turkey, an incredibly romantic and exotic country where the famous love affair between Marc Anthony and Cleopatra had blossomed, is a very popular destination for weddings and honeymoons.
We have designed great honeymoon itineraries, tailored to the particular interests of our guests, often covering three areas: Istanbul, Cappadocia, and Bodrum. Our honeymoon couples have loved their experiences; as a result, we are getting new honeymoon referrals from their friends. Our honeymoon program is priced at three levels — Silver, Gold, and Platinum — depending on the accommodations used in each city.
Istanbul, one of the “must see” cities of the world, has memorable vistas and romantic hotels. It is also renowned for its fine dining and vibrant nightlife. You will take a cruise on the Bosphorus Straits against a backdrop of the famous Istanbul skyline with its domes and minarets, and visit highlights such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar.
The Cappadocia region is unique with its “lunar” landscape; following volcanic eruptions millions of years ago, conical shaped formations, termed “fairy chimneys,” were created from the soft lava cover with wind and rain erosion. There are also underground cities carved into the soft lava stone, extending eight or more levels down under the earth’s surface, where people escaping from danger or persecution could live for a year without ever coming out. You can enjoy touring this area by vehicle, horse, or foot, or even by taking an early-morning hot-air balloon ride while enjoying a glass of champagne! At nighttime, you will be spending a part of your Honeymoon in a cave hotel. (Absolutely unique, cave hotels can be very luxurious; some suites actually have underground pools in them!)
Bodrum, described by some as the “new St. Tropez”, is now a preferred vacation spot for the rich and the famous. You will be able to relax all day on the beach or in your beautiful hotel, take advantage of some of the best spa facilities on the Mediterranean, and enjoy the great restaurants and the nightlife in the evenings! You can even go on a private sailing aboard a “gulet” (a traditional local wooden sailboat).
Honeymoons are supposed to be memorable once-in-a-lifetime experiences. A honeymoon in Turkey can be these and more![/two_third]
